My trip to the Racetrack

Hello my fellow bloggers!! As you already know, as of late, I have had an obsession with Belmont Racetrack. It all started when I started to inquire about things to so in my home town and Belmont was the first place to come to mind. So, I did my research i found out all it had to offer; which exceeded my expectations. And today I actually took a trip to take advantage of all it has to offer and I must say I had a blast. I know in previous post i mentioned how Belmont is very family friendly but its a great place to go with a few buddies as well. My boyfriend and I went just to see what it was like. Initially he was a skeptic but when we left he was just as excited as i was when we arrived. So again, I urge you all to check it out! I promise you wont be disappointed. let me know how it went !

Belmont Racetrack is sooo much more than Horse racing

Hello again!! So recently,I have had an obsession with Belmont Racetrack. I had no idea all that it had to offer,so in my excitement I've decided to share this with you all. You can thank me later. I thought the racetrack was exactly that, a racetrack where you would watch horses race. Recently I found that it is sooo much more than that. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the Barber Shop. Yes you read it right they have a barber shop. So if you ever needed a quick shape up before you went to the stakes that is a service that is provided.  If you're coming from out of town and want to get to the stakes early you can and you can have breakfast at Belmont. I thought this was really cool because after breakfast they take you on a mini tour and its FREE! After breakfast, fans are invited to take a free tram ride through the stable area and also enjoy a free Paddock Show and participate in a free Starting Gate demonstration. How cool is that? This place is very family friendly! They even have a back yard picnic area for family picnics. They have bars for adults where alcoholic beverages are sold and concession stands where they sell hamburgers and hot dogs. If that's not enough to get the kids excited they even have a children's play ground! So enough with me telling you how fabulous it is, go see it for yourself! Let me know what you think about it.

Take part in history-Come to Belmont

Now, I've lived in Elmont for approximately six years now and I haven't realized, until now, all it has to offer. Like take Belmont Racetrack for instance, it has been in existence since 1905 and its a world famous race track. People from all over the world come to take part in this wonderful experience. Every year people come from all over to take part in the Belmont Stakes. Some win and others lose. But they all realize its the the excitement of the race that keeps them coming back. I say all this to say that for a long time I have considered Elmont to be a small neighborhood in the Town of Hempstead which was quiet and rarely had anything of interest to tourist. Now, I realize that  the hustle and bustle of large cities isn't always inviting.  Sometimes its the small things in life that brings a smile to a face. Belmont Racetrack isn't only a tourist attraction it's a place where families come together and experience its rich history.
